March brings the London Bridal Show where we go to Olympia to view the latest collections from our existing suppliers and we can never resist having a look at what other suppliers are offering. This year Alison and I took Jess and Hannah along with us, mainly for a day out but also for another opinion. We went straight to our exisitng suppliers and placed orders, then we always like to have a look around for potential new suppliers in the future.
When we approached the Art Couture stand there was a real buzz, with dresses being tried on by all the models and smiling boutique owners placing orders. We had a quick flick through the dresses on the rail and immediately asked for a price list and a table, we knew we just had to have them! It became apparent that we LOVED every dress but we couldn't possibly buy 40+ dresses. Eventually we managed to get a short list and now cannot wait to receive them in July. These dresses have every detail you could possibly want, stunning beadwork, beautiful necklines and flattering shapes.
So to bring these dresses to you a little earlier we are having a designer weekend on the 8th and 9th April. This is when we receive the majority of the collection for you to try before it hits the stores in July.

Buying season has started and this past weekend Alison, Sophie and I jetted off to sunny Madrid. We were of course looking forward to seeing the new 2018 collection from the La Sposa, but we were really excited for sun, exploring and, of course, shopping!
Each year we go out to Spain to see the new collection for . We get put up in an amazing hotel, wined and dined and then the next morning visit an enormous exhibition centre with 100’s of other people (all with sore heads) to place an order of around 12 dresses!
Wedding dress shopping can be a daunting task and brides have lots of questions when we meet them at fairs. When to start looking? What will suit me? Do I need to book an appointment? What should I wear to the appointment? How much does a wedding dress cost?
