We are meeting more and more brides who are planning their big day abroad. They want an appropriate dress for the climate and that can be transported easily.
When it comes to transporting the most precious dress you will ever purchase, you will not want to let it out of your sight. The first thing you should do is check with your airline what their policies are on hand luggage. We all know the popular ‘orange’ airline that has very strict rules on hand luggage size and quantity. We can help here, we have a luggage bag that fits their restrictions and can pack your dress ready for transportation. Other airlines will let you take the dress on board and hang it for you in a suitable area. As soon as you arrive, unpack the dress and get it hung in the bathroom to ensure any creases drop out and your dress is perfect for the BIG day!
We have several options for beach weddings, such as the gorgeous Annie by So Sassi. A cute, light weight, tea length, dipped hem dress. Or something like Ophelia by Agnes, a chiffon, backless dress. However, I strongly believe you shouldn’t let the fact that you are getting married abroad restrict the dresses you look at. You only get married once, when will you ever get the chance to wear a big white dress again?!
